Jesus Is My Rock

I have a rock to lean on,
Safe and secure.
One that never moves away,
But is steady and sure.

I can sit there as waves crash before me.
I can talk to Him because most people ignore me.
I can come to Him and confide.
I can run to Him and hide.

No matter the storm,
No matter the sea.
No matter if I am dry or drowning,
He is there for me, and crowning...

My weary head with His light.
He lifts it high, to look in His eye.
Why should I fear or worry,
Whose child am I?

He is the rock that is higher,
The flame in His eye, sets me on fire.
I am my beloved's, He is mine.
Rest on the rock of ages, I know it turns out fine.

Streets of Gold

To walk on streets of gold,
Lit by the glory of God.
To walks the footsteps of the Lord,
Where angels also trod.

To feel the cool street,
Beneath my feet.
And with my robe, shining bright,
Standing before a throne of white.

I'll knee in haste,
Not a second to waste.
Blessing the King, a praise to sing........
O, taste and see He is good, and He would,

Do all these things for me.
Unworthy was I, but He chose to die.
Why? He loves me,
And wanted me to be free.

Walk with me Jesus,
Upon your golden street.
When I have walked so weary before you,
Now just let me rest at your feet.

When Jesus Kissed My Heart

When Jesus kissed my heart,
I felt His warm embrace.
My cheeks began to blush,
A smile, a tear, was on my my face.

When Jesus kissed my heart,
All my fear was gone.
I knew love was with me,
I was never alone.

When Jesus kissed my heart,
It melted into His grace.
For I had a perfect Lord.
Who prepared for me a perfect place.

When Jesus kissed my heart.
I was amazed at what He'd done.
I was a child of God,
An heir, with His beloved Son.

When Jesus kissed my heart,
His love for me, was forever, divine.
It will never miss a beat, know defeat,
For His love is perfect, and is forever mine.
